Scale Inhibitor

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This product is an organic phosphonic acid scale and corrosion inhibitor, capable of forming stable complexes with various metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, and zinc. It exhibits excellent high-temperature resistance, maintaining effective corrosion and scale inhibition even at 250°C. Additionally, it remains stable at high pH levels and is resistant to hydrolysis. It is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water systems in sectors like electricity, paper-making, chemical, metallurgy, and fertilizer, as well as in medium and low-pressure boilers, oilfield water injection, and oil pipelines for scale and corrosion inhibition. The product model is XZ-3009.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Add the daily required scale inhibitor into the plastic dosing bucket. For ease of use, it can be diluted with water and then continuously added at the inlet of the circulating pump (i.e., at the outlet of the collecting tank) using a metering pump or by adjusting the valve. The dosing concentration is generally 5-20mg/L (based on the amount of makeup water). Specific instructions shall be followed as directed by technical personnel on site.

PRECAUTIONS

This product is irritating to the skin and eyes, so protective equipment should be worn during use and operation. If it accidentally splashes into the eyes or on the skin, rinse with plenty of water. In severe cases, seek medical attention. This product should be stored in the dark and at room temperature, with a shelf life of twelve months.
